As that what was, crumbles and rots beneath our feet,
I will hold your hand, you will hold mine,
we will hold others too and they will hold us.
Even as the grounds crumble, we will not stumble,
Into the chasm of all that was,
An old world, dead to rights and screeching in mortal terror.
But over that dark void with its belts of hellfire and apathetic morosity,
Our gazes, hand in hand in hand in hand, stare over and past.
We look to the red corona raising the new horizon,
As what was, crumbles beneath our feet,
May our gaze stay transfixed on that crimson horizon, bathing us in new light.
There is more to this breaking of all things than that which has broken.
Our hands, unbothered by the tools of yesterday, may hold each other,
As we forge a new tomorrow together. Hand in hand in hand in hand,
Our new humanity will forge our New Planet, our New Tomorrow.
